Microsoft is positioned in the Strong Performers band, with Forrester noting, “ Microsoft is the only supplier that provides hardware, software, and internet-of-things (IoT) platforms to enable end-to-end customer service.”

The April 2018 report notes, “Unlike its competitors, Microsoft has been building out an AI platform agnostic of its business applications for years. Its AI platform, built on Microsoft Azure, makes machine-learning, cognitive, and bot services available that businesses can leverage to create their own applications or connect to Dynamics 365… Microsoft's greatest depth is in its library of AI solutions designed specifically for sales and customer service.”
